Got a new website

I've been thinking about switching this blog from blogspot to wordpress; doing so would mean a new website address, of course. And if I am changing my address, I might as well get my own domain name. So I got registered as crimlawdoc.com, and have begun building the site using wordpress; it is (those who write about this say so) a better way to go, especially from the perspective of encouraging comments and discussion. Also, it's a lot easier to make your posts look good, using wordpress (I have fits with the formatting of my posts on this blog and they often look kinda ragged, I think). Right now, all I have done is transferred my old posts (up through yesterday) over to the new site, and that worked out well. I need to figure out how to get cool stuff like my del.icio.us links over in the sidebars, like I have on this blog. Now that I have embarked on this, I find that the wordpress tutorial is just a bit intimidating... it really is designed for people who are just a bit (!) more technically proficient and experienced than I am... but what the hell. I'll make an announcement or try to do some kind of automatic re-direct when I get finished with all that. For now, you can take a look at the new site if you want, at:
