I added some new features today: there's a slide show of various of my photos, up at the top of the main page (I'll change them from time to time); and there's a new search engine that, apparently, will search not only the posts published in this blog but also the materials linked on this blog. Try it out! I have no idea how it works. Also, I have added a new gadget/widget that is supposed to display the text of recent comments, so that you don't have to go to a new page for comments (at least, for the most recent ones). Post a comment, OK? Try it out and let's see if it works.
All of this fiddling with the blog has kept me busily occupied from other tasks I'd rather not do... I think that is 90% of the reason(s) that most people work on their blogs...
It's a gray, rainy day in Kansas City, and I have promised to take my mother out to lunch somewhere. That's always challenging, because in the 50+ years I have known her, she has almost never said that she enjoyed a meal or a restaurant I have taken her to! Amazing! Yet she never stops saying that she wants to go out to eat... So, we'll try it again.
