I’ve been fiddling a bit more with this blog. I added my email address (over in the intro blurb, near the top, on the left of this page), in case you should want to reach me (I hope this doesn’t bring me a lot of spam-type-grief)! And I removed the Google Reader list of links. There were a lot of great science-related links in that list, but they weren’t organized in any way. I’m working on converting them all to del.icio.us links, which is a much more accessible method.
You can see the big “cloud” of tags for del.icio.us links, over in the left column; and below that, the del.icio.us list will still display the most recently-added links. And I finally finished adding appropriate titles, and appending tags, to all my own posts, so there is an easy way (other than using the “search” box in the upper left corner of the page) to find anything I have written or posted on the blog itself. In doing that, I was a bit surprised to find that nearly my biggest category was the LOL (I Can Has Cheezburger) pictures. Some people think that my posting all these kitty cartoons implies that I like cats. And I do like cats (I live happily with two of them, but really I am a dog person); but what I like about these captioned pictures is that they have such wonderful and peculiar juxtapositions of weirdness, humor, sexuality, the macabre, cuteness, cruelty, and bad grammar. Just like life, I suppose…
I hope that this blog will be useful as a resource for people whose interests resemble my own (BUT: is that even possible, I sometimes wonder??)!
Thanks to all who have recently posted comments, and encouragement to those who have not: I love comments! They let me know that someone is out there reading this stuff!

I just thought I would let you know your blog page is being read 'almost daily' by at least one person....me! Your insights are thought provoking and the article links are always quite interesting. It has been a great resource for me. Thanks.
